Hello backers,

Thank you again for your support! We're nearly three-quarters of the way there with two weeks to go, but we are not quite done yet! We hope that you will consider sharing the project with others and/or upgrading your pledge if you have pledged at the basic level. By way of enticing you to do so, we wanted to share some more details about the add-ons which are included with the Collector's Edition. Along with a beautiful slipcase and the editor's signature on your book, Collector's Edition backers will receive:

Both issues of The Rainbow

The Rainbow was an amateur literary journal founded and edited by Sonia. The two issues included here are facsimiles of originals acquired through a previous crowdfunding campaign by Two Hearts editor Monica Wasserman, and belonged to another HPL correspondent, Alfred Galpin. Amongst other interesting contents, the first issue includes Galpin's essay, 'Niestzsche as a Practical Prophet', whilst the second includes H. P. Lovecraft's, 'Celephais'. We are recreating these issues of The Rainbow as close as possible to their original form in terms of look, size, materials, etc. These have a place on the shelves of any dedicated Lovecraft enthusiast.

Alcestis (Limited Edition)

This is a beautiful, original version of Euripides’ play Alcestis as interpreted by Sonia H.G. Lovecraft & H.P. Lovecraft. Originally premiering in 438 B.C., Alcestis is a classic Athenian tragedy of sacrifice, love, and loss. Mr. & Mrs. Lovecraft’s extension of this Greek masterpiece adds an entirely original prologue authored by the pair, presented herein alongside their chosen interpretation of the body of the play. Alcestis: A Play is being printed on high-quality paper stock using heritage printing techniques by a small, family-owned printer in Scotland. Hand-bound with a pamphlet stitch in contrasting purple thread, this unique edition is strictly limited to 500 copies, and Two Hearts backers have first crack at them. Don't miss out on your chance to add this important work to your library!

If you are considering upgrading, you can do so by signing into Kickstarter and editing your pledge. If you know others who are interested in weird fiction, literary history, or pioneering women, kindly consider sharing the campaign with them! We would certainly appreciate any help you can give us in bringing this important literary project to fruition.

All the best,

Monica Wasserman & Helios House Press

Hello,

Thank you all for getting our campaign off to such a great start. We're still on day one, and almost halfway there! In addition, we have been made a 'Project We Love' by Kickstarter, a distinction we are thrilled to receive. We appreciate your support so much, and hope you will consider sharing the campaign with the lovers of weird fiction and admirers of pioneering women in your lives.

We can't wait to share Sonia's story with you, and if we should reach our initial goal, we have a number of wonderful stretch goals lined up. We will share more details and behind-the-scenes tidbits in these updates throughout the campaign and beyond, so keep an eye out for them.

Best regards,

Monica Wasserman & Helios House Press
